Blackberry Tart Fig
A rare ultra-dark/black fig distinguished by its deep crimson, almost wine-red interior. This variety delivers a rich, dessert-like flavor profile — sweet and jammy with a bold blackberry-tart finish. The skin is intensely dark and attractive on the tree, while the flesh is dense, syrupy, and aromatic. Excellent eaten fresh, but equally outstanding for drying and small-batch preserves thanks to its concentrated berry notes. Thank you to J and N Grub family for sharing this seedling with us.
