Inebriating mint is also known as intoxicating or Turkistan mint. It really is a member of the mint family Labiatae and it is native from Cental Asia to Iran and Afghanistan. The traditional use of the plant dates back centuries. Tajik, Tatar, Turkoman and Uzbek tribesmen used it during mysteries and feasts for its intoxicating and sedative effects.

Lagochilus inebrians the Uzbekistan Mint or Intoxicating Mint must be one of the rarest and most sought out entheogens. The main reason for Lagochilus inebrians rarity within the ethnobotanical community is due to the fact that its now extremely rare in its native habitat and is only found growing in very rural and inhospitable mountainous areas.

The effects of the plant are mainly attributed to lagochilin, which like salvinorin A is a diterpene. The closely related compounds lagochilin-3-acetate and lagochilin-tetraacetate are also present in the plant and might contribute to the overall effects. Like Salvia divinorum, this is one of the few members of the mint family (Labiatae) that is traditionally used as an inebriant. The most commonly reported effects include relaxation, euphoria, and subtle perceptual changes. We import our Lagochilus inebrians seeds directly from their native location. We guarantee that this is the real thing.
