Rayos de Sol

“Rays of the Sun” is  a striking capri fig that offers both beauty and function, making it an exciting choice for those interested in pollen for breeding or caprification, as well as for its edible summer crop.

The summer crop has not yet been evaluated outside of wasp zones, so it remains uncertain whether it requires pollination by fig wasps to ripen. The edible fruit carries much of the same captivating coloration, and I eagerly anticipate seeing these figs fully mature to evaluate their flavor profile. The final picture shows an unripe example of the main crop.

While Rayos de Sol shows promising signs of being a persistent capri, this has not yet been confirmed. With its radiant appearance and potential versatility, it is a fig that could bring both practical and aesthetic value to your collection.
